Sponsored by the International Trade Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and jointly organized by the Foreign Trade Association and the Screw Association, the **International Fastener Exhibition** will take place at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from May 3 to 5 of this year . A total of 283 manufacturers will participate in the exhibition, utilizing 835 booths.
Furthermore, the industry collaboratively examined strategies to enhance the overall economy of the fastening sector and to anticipate future international development trends amid the challenges posed by geopolitics, global inflation, climate change, and other issues in the post-pandemic era. The discussion also addressed the implications of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the US Clean Competition Act (CCA) on Taiwan's fastening industry. In addition to the ongoing integration of automation, intelligence, and data into the production process to facilitate the industry's transformation and upgrading, Taiwan's fastener manufacturers should bolster international cooperation, expand into emerging overseas markets, and innovate new products and services to enhance competitiveness and increase market share.
